  3. Overview
  4. --------
  5. WinShell  is  a multi-purpose  shell used to easily accomplish many
  6. common  file  management  tasks.   Through  the  use  of   external
  7. programs  WinShell  handles  uuencoding  and uudecoding, as well as
  8. many  PGP  actions.  Internally,  WinShell can zip, unzip, show the
  9. contents  of  archives,  and even view files contained in archives.
  10. For maximum flexibility,  WinShell  allows  the user to define four
  11. menu items and the action that should occur when they are selected.

  13. This release  is  primarily a  maintenance release,  with the major
  14. changes  being a smaller memory  footprint due to the  removal of a
  15. little used custom control, and a bug fix in the horizontall scroll
  16. method for the selected files list box.

  25. Run the included setup program to install WinShell.

  47. --------------
  48. WinShell is distributed as freeware. It was written in
  49. Visual Basic,  so it requires vbrun300.dll. I wrote it
  50. for the sole purpose of putting all the  programs that
  51. I use alot together in a more usable manner via a GUI.
